Apex Technologies (ABN 47 694 264 849) is an IT services company based in Sydney, Australia. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy covers information collected through apextechnologies.com.au and in the course of providing our services.
What we collect
- Contact enquiries — when you use the contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, company (optional) and the contents of your message.
- Service delivery — if you become a client, we may collect business contact details and the technical information reasonably needed to manage your IT environment.
We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this website. The only thing stored in your browser is your light/dark theme preference, which never leaves your device.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
- To administer our client relationship, including billing and support.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party marketing.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to operate this website and our business: our website host (Vercel) and our email delivery provider (Resend), which processes contact-form submissions. These providers may store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We only share what is necessary for them to perform their function.
How we protect it
We apply the same standards we sell: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, multi-factor authentication on our systems, and retention limited to what we need. When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you — email contact@apextechnologies.com.au. If you believe we have mishandled your information, contact us first and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
